NEAR FUTURE
To close a small distance, Hošek Contemporary, Berlin, Sept 9
We are delighted to perform in To close a small distance, an exhibit with works by Leeza Negelev and Katie Kearns.
As the exhibition explores nearness, materiality, and the visual representation of sound, we present a program that probes the space just between sound and silence. What does it feel like to experience live acoustic sounds that you cannot identify, even at close proximity? How does your perception of space and time alter when confronted with the very slow and the very soft? Combining commissions, improvisation, and preexisting works, we invite you to listen up close.
Many thanks to Leeza Negelev for inviting us to play at this exhibition!
